Clydesdale Bank Manager of the Month for March
Hibernian Manager Mixu Paatelainen has been named Clydesdale Bank Premier League Manager of the Month for March.
Hibernian were unbeaten during March adding a draw at home to Aberdeen to the victories they achieved against Hamilton and city rivals Hearts earlier in the Month. Under Paatelainen's leadership the Leith club took an impressive seven points from a possible nine in March without conceding a single goal, ending the month in the top six just four points off a European place.
Clydesdale Bank Player of the Month for March
Celtic striker Scott McDonald has been named Clydesdale Bank Premier League Player of the Month for March.
McDonald scored three goals in two games during March including an impressive double against Kilmarnock, helping Celtic regain Clydesdale Bank Premier League top spot from close rivals Rangers. Noting the importance of his goals to Celtic's title push, the panel voted him the Clydesdale Bank Premier League's stand out player for March.
Clydesdale Bank Young Player of the Month for March
Hibernian's Steven Fletcher has been named Clydesdale Bank Premier League Young Player of the Month for March.
Despite his age, Steven has firmly established himself as a key member of the Hibs first team with 26 appearances this season already under his belt. His invaluable contribution of two winning goals, in what was an outstanding month for Hibernian, left the panel in little doubt that Fletcher was indeed the Clydesdale Bank Premier League Young Player of the Month for March.
