Motherwell v Hibernian (Friday 7.45pm, Live on ESPN)
Two of the Clydesdale Bank Premier Leagueâs top scorers come into opposition with 19-goal pair Leigh Griffiths and Michael Higdon lining up against one another. Motherwell are unbeaten in their last three while Hibs havenât lost in five â although both sides go into the game on the back of goalless draws last weekend. Both previous meetings this season have ended in away wins â Hibs by 4-0 at Fir Park in October and Motherwell by 3-2 at Easter Road in December. Home defender Shaun Hutchison returns after missing the draw at Pittodrie through suspension while Chris Humphrey and Fraser Kerr are available after injuries. Kevin Thomson has rejoined Hibs on a short-term deal. Victory for Motherwell will ensure a top-six finish for them.
Celtic v Aberdeen
Celtic will be without midfielder Victor Wanyama through suspension but defender Mikael Lustig is back in full training after a thigh strain. Aberdeen will be without defender Clark Robertson with an ankle injury sustained in the draw against Motherwell last weekend. Aberdeen are struggling for goals â theyâve managed just three in their last nine games â and theyâve lost on their last fifteen league visits to Celtic Park. Celtic, though have lost three of their last four games. Craig Brown has announced he will step down as Aberdeen manager at the end of the season to take up the position of non-executive director at the club.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Ross County
Richard Brittain returns for Ross County after missing the win over Celtic through suspension and Ivan Sproule is also available after injury. Caley Thistleâs Graeme Shinnie sits the game out because of a ban. A County win would almost certainly clinch a top-six spot for them but they havenât won any of the last six meetings of the Highland sides. They are, however unbeaten in their last eleven games this season. Iain Vigurs has scored three of the five goals the Staggies have scored against Caley Thistle this season.
Dundee United v Dundee (Sunday 12.00pm, Live on ESPN)
United will be without Willo Flood through suspension and John Rankin is also missing after the club decided not to appeal his red card against St Mirren last weekend. Dundee have a doubt over goalkeeper Rab Douglas, who has a thigh injury. United have won only three of the last twelve Tayside derbies â but they have won both Clydesdale Bank Premier League meetings this season and knocked Dundee out of the Scottish Cup earlier this month.
