Clydesdale Bank Manager of the Month for October

Inverness Caledonian Thistle Manager Terry Butcher has been named Clydesdale Bank Premier League Manager of the Month for October.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle were undefeated throughout the month as Terry Butcher guided his side to 4th position in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.  During October the team took maximum points from Aberdeen and Kilmarnock and put in terrific team performances to gain draws against St Johnstone and Rangers.  This run of results led the panel to pick him out as the Clydesdale Bank Manager of the Month for October.

Clydesdale Bank Player of the Month for October

Rangers forward Steven Naismith has been named Clydesdale Bank Player of the Month for October.

Steven Naismith helped his team remain undefeated in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League with excellent displays throughout the month.  Naismith scored two goals for his side in October, including a vital last minute winner against Hearts to guide his side to a 2-1 victory.  Naismith also scored in Rangers 4-1 victory over Motherwell and played a key role in his side’s 3-1 victory over Celtic.  Naismith’s performances throughout the month led the voting panel to select him as the Clydesdale Bank Player of the Month.

Clydesdale Bank Young Player of the Month for October.

Celtic midfielder Ki Sung Yueng has been named Clydesdale Bank Young Player of the Month for October.  

Ki has been on good form throughout the month playing a key role in the heart of Celtic’s midfield. His strong performances and attacking threat led the panel to vote him Clydesdale Bank Young Player of the Month.
