Clydesdale Bank Manager of the Month for March

Dundee United manager Peter Houston has been named Clydesdale Bank Premier League Manager of the Month for March.

Peter Houston guided his side to wins in all five of their league games in March helping the club move into a strong position in the top six of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.  Dundee United recorded impressive wins over Aberdeen, Hamilton and Hearts as well as two victories over top six rivals Inverness CT.  It was the clubs 100% record throughout the month that led the panel to vote Peter Houston as their Clydesdale Bank Premier League Manager of the Month.

Clydesdale Bank Player of the Month for March

Dundee United forward David Goodwillie has been named Clydesdale Bank Premier League Player of the Month for March.

As Dundee United recorded five consecutive Clydesdale Bank Premier League victories David Goodwillie was on top form for his side.  He netted in United’s 2-1 win over Hamilton and was a constant threat to opposition defences throughout the month.  It was Goodwillie’s all round energetic displays and attacking flair that led the panel to vote him as the Clydesdale Bank Premier League Player of the Month.

Clydesdale Bank Young Player of the Month for March

Dundee United forward Johnny Russell has been named Clydesdale Bank Premier League Young Player of the Month for March.

As Dundee United recorded five straight Clydesdale Bank Premier League wins Johnny Russell was a key player for the side. The youngster scored both goals in his team’s 2-0 win over Hearts and played a vital role as his club all but consolidated their position in the top six of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.  Russell’s constant threat to the opposition over the month led the panel to vote him as the Clydesdale Bank Premier League Young Player of the Month for March.
