Clydesdale Bank Manager of the Month for December

Kilmarnock had a good December with two wins and a draw, beating Hibernian 2-1, Inverness CT 3-1 and holding Celtic to a 1-1 draw.   The panel felt that Mixu has the team playing attractive football and selected him as their choice for the Clydesdale Bank Premier League Manager of the Month for December.

Hearts defender Marius Zaliukas has been named Clydesdale Bank Player of the Month for December.  

In what has been an impressive month for the club, Zaliukas led by example and guided Hearts to three wins and a draw.  Zaliukas’ dominating performances at the centre of the Hearts defence helped the club record two clean sheets in December, against Aberdeen and St Mirren, and led the panel to vote him Clydesdale Bank Premier League Player of the Month.

Hearts midfielder David Templeton has been named Clydesdale Bank Premier League Young Player of the Month for December.

Templeton has been in impressive form over the month scoring Hearts’ openers in both the 5-0 victory over Aberdeen and the 2-0 win over St Mirren. Templeton’s goalscoring prowess throughout the month along with his consistently good performances led the panel to select him as their choice for the Clydesdale Bank Premier League Young Player of the Month, for the second month in a row.
