St Johnstone 1 Aberdeen 2
Aberdeen moved up to ninth in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League after their first away win of the season.  The Dons took the lead when Scott Vernon poked the ball home after Peter Enckleman saved from Ryan Jack's drive.  Aberdeen came close to increasing their lead when Kari Arnason's drive hit the post but they did go two ahead when Enckleman's poor clearance was gathered by Jack who fired into the Saints net from the halfway line.  Aberdeen were reduced to ten men when Andy Considine was shown a second yellow card after a late tackle on Sam Parkin - and Saints pulled one back in injury-time when Marcus Haber headed in Chris Millar's cross.
