Hearts scored twice in the closing minutes to end Celtic's unbeaten run in the Clydesdale Bank U19 League with a dramatic 2-1 victory at Barrowfield on Sunday afternoon.
Paul George gave the reigning champions the lead early in the second half but Callum Tapping equalised and Calum Paterson won it for Darren Murray's team. The capital club, runners-up last term, are now 10 points clear at the top of the Clydesdale Bank U19s League although Celtic still have three games in hand.
In the other games to beat the weather over the course of the weekend, Hibernian defeated Rangers 2-0 with goals in either half from Jordon Forster and Sam Stanton.
St Mirren fought back from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 with Dundee United. Frankie Owens gave Saints an early advantage but Ryan Gauld, Greg Whyte and Jordan Moore had United in control before Jack Smith and Michael Fulton struck in the final 15 minutes at McKenna Park.
