Celtic v St Mirren
Celtic have won sixteen and drawn three of their last 19 meetings with the Saints at Parkhead - and the Paisley club have scored just five goals in that time.  Gunni Torfason, George Shaw and Paul Lambert scored the goals on Saints' last Parkhead win - a 3-0 victory in April 1990.  Saints have won three, lost three and drawn three of their last nine games.  Korean Ki Sung Yeung could start for Celtic while crocked defensive pair Thomas Rogne and Charlie Mulgrew will also come into contention.  Celtic have also added to their squad this week by signing Rosenborg's right-back Mikael Lustig on a pre contract agreement. The Swedish internationalist will join up with the squad in the January transfer window.  Saints' Aussie midfielder Aaron Mooy is struggling with a back injury, while skipper Hugh Murray is still out injured.  However the Saints have received good news this week when it was confirmed that manager Danny Lennon has extended his deal at the club until 2014.

Dunfermline Athletic v Aberdeen
Two of the bottom three sides in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League meet at East End Park and either one of them could be bottom of the table on Saturday night if results go against them.  Aberdeen have won 49 of the 100 league meetings of the clubs, and Dunfermline haven't won any of the last seven meetings of the sides - they lost 4-0 in the match this season in September, which was the SPL's first Friday night fixture.  Aberdeen have Ryan Jack and Rory Fallon back after suspension, and the Pars' Gary Mason also returns after a ban.

Hearts v Inverness Caledonian Thistle

Ian Black serves the final game of his three-match ban and although Danny Grainger is available after suspension he's now ruled out for up to two months following an operation on a long-standing groin problem.  Inverness C.T. have lodged an appeal against Greg Tansey's controversial ordering-off against Celtic last weekend.  The last three meetings of the sides have ended 1-1, with Hearts' Stephen Elliott scoring in both the last two games - but Hearts haven't scored in any of their last four games.

Motherwell v Dundee United
This is the 199th meeting of the sides, including seven matches last season, four of which Motherwell won.  They've already added to that this season with a 3-1 win at Tannadice last month and have lost only one of their last seven matches.  'Well have defender Tim Clancy out as he serves the second game of a two-match ban.

St Johnstone v Hibernian
Saints' manager Steve Lomas will be in charge for his first home game following last week's impressive goalless draw at Ibrox.  Hibs have won only one of their last six games in Perth and have won only one game in their last seven this season.

Kilmarnock v Rangers (Sun)
Gregg Wylde serves the final game of his two-game suspension for Rangers, who have signed ex-Aberdeen frontman Sone Aluko after he played and scored in a midweek trial game.  Kilmarnock could have 'keeper Cammy Bell available after he played a midweek bounce game following a seven-week absence with an elbow ligament injury.  Killie have won only one of their last nine Clydesdale Bank Premier League games - and haven't beaten Rangers at home in any of their last 32 attempts.
