With the SPL continuing to trial Friday night football in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League we asked for your thoughts to see if you are a supporter of the Friday evening kick off times.
In what was a close fought battle it would appear that most of you are traditionalists at heart with 56% preferring a Saturday kick off time, but willing to give the Friday night concept a go. The first game to feature on a Friday night in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League this season was Aberdeen v Dunfermline Athletic which attracted the Dons third highest home attendance of the season, somewhat suggesting that the experiment is shaping up as a success. 21% of you agreed with this sentiment, saying that you preferred a Friday evening kick off to a Saturday afternoon.
Interestingly however, with the trial set to continue for the upcoming Motherwell v Hibernian game on the 2nd December, 23% of you are against the concept completely and wouldnât attend a game on a Friday night.
Our new fans poll comes on the back of Colin Calderwoodâs departure from Hibs and we are asking who would you like to see appointed as their next manager? You can have your say by visiting the Competitions section of the site now.
