Aberdeen v Rangers
Rangers, who have won nine in a row and are unbeaten in twelve, have striker Joe Sise of relegated Swedish outfit Halmstad on trial. Aberdeen have Ryan Jack suspended after his red card at Parkhead last Sunday. The Dons have won only one of the last eleven games between the pair - a 1-0 victory through Lee Miller's winner in November 2009. Rangers have won twice as many of the meetings of the sides as Aberdeen - 160 against 80.
Celtic v Hibernian
Second meeting of the sides in four days after Celticâs 4-1 win in their League Cup clash on Wednesday and Celtic have won eight of the last ten Clydesdale Bank Premier League meetings of the clubs. Hibs' last win at Celtic Park came in January last year thanks to Danny Galbraith's last-minute winner - Anthony Stokes, now at Celtic, scored their other goal. Celtic still have skipper Scott Brown and defender Emilio Izaguirre sidelined while Glenn Loovens is out with a hamstring injury and Mo Bangura has a knee injury, but Kris Commons is available again after a two-game suspension. Hibs manager Colin Calderwood is keen to extend striker Leigh Griffiths' loan spell from Wolves.
Dunfermline Athletic v Dundee United
Dunfermline have gone eight games without a win - their last victory came against United at Tannadice in August thanks to Paul Burns' late goal. United's Danny Swanson is out for two months with a medial ligament strain sustained against Aberdeen and Sean Dillon has a torn calf, while the Pars' Andy Barrowman is doubtful after an appendix operation. Expect it to be tight - there hasn't been more than one goal separating the teams in their last seventeen meetings, and United have won only four of those games. The Tannadice side have won only one of their last ten Clydesdale Bank Premier League games and went out of the League Cup on penalties in midweek.
Hearts v Kilmarnock
Kilmarnock won comprehensively on both their visits to Tynecastle last season recording 3-0 and 2-0 wins. They could have 'keeper Cammy Bell back available after an elbow injury but Anssi Jaakkola is likely to continue after his performance at Motherwell last weekend. Last weekend's draw at Motherwell makes it two wins in twenty Clydesdale Bank Premier League games for Kenny Shiels' side but they progressed to the League Cup semi-final with a win over East Fife in midweek.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Motherwell
There looks like scope for Motherwell to strengthen their current second spot in the table at bottom dogs Caley Thistleâs expense - 'Well have won on seven of their last ten visits to Inverness. Despite their league position, Inverness C.T. are unbeaten in their last four home games. Former Fir Park midfielder Stephen Hughes is training at Motherwell after being released by Norwich.
St Johnstone v St Mirren
This is the 99th league meeting of the Saints and the Perth side haven't scored in the last four games against their Paisley counterparts - though three of the games ended goalless. St Johnstone have lost only one of their last nine Clydesdale Bank Premier League games, while St Mirren have won only one of their last seven league matches and went out of the League Cup at home to Ayr in midweek.
