Aberdeen v Dunfermline Athletic (Friday)
The Friday night fixture is the 100th league meeting of the clubs and the last time both were in the SPL five seasons ago the Dons won all three meetings. Craig Brown's side have scored in only two of their nine Clydesdale Bank Premier League games this season but they have youngster Fraser Fyvie available again after being on Scotland under-19 Euro qualifiers duty in Belgium. Jim McIntyre still has experienced pair Martin Hardie and Craig Easton sidelined.
Dundee United v Motherwell
The sides met seven times in all three domestic competitions last season with Motherwell winning four of the games. United skipper Jon Daly has scored seven goals in nine games for the Tannadice men this season, but highly-rated midfielder Scott Allan has turned down United's offer of a new contract and United have released winger Keanu March-Brown after the Fulham teenager was unable to settle on Tayside.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle v St Mirren
Rock-bottom Caley Thistle will be happy to be facing the Paisley Saints as they've won four of the last six games between the sides. Josh Meekings could return after an ankle problem for Inverness CT but they could be without defender David Proctor after he limped off at Parkhead last week. Saints' Hugh Murray remains sidelined after a knee operation.
Kilmarnock v St Johnstone
Midweek defeat at Ibrox means Kilmarnock have won only two of their last seventeen Clydesdale Bank Premier League games, while Saints' loss at Easter Road on Wednesday ended Derek McInnes' Saints' run of five league games unbeaten. St Johnstone have won only one of the last eight meetings of the sides - at Rugby Park in May 2010 - and will be without defender Frazer Wright for a month with a torn calf muscle.
Rangers v Hibernian
Rangers have Stevie Naismith missing as he serves the second game of his suspension but Lee Wallace could start after coming on as a substitute on Tuesday after two months out with a hamstring injury. Victory at Ibrox would see the champions move ten points clear of Celtic at the top of the table. All three meetings of the sides last season ended in away wins - Rangers winning twice at Easter Road and Hibs enjoying a resounding 3-0 Ibrox win on their last visit in November. None of the three Hibs scorers that day - Liam Miller, John Rankin and Francis Dickoh - are still at the club. Improving Hibs have scored ten goals in their last four games, while striker Garry O'Connor had hit ten goals in his last ten appearances.
Hearts v Celtic (Sunday)
A visit to Tynecastle is always competitive for Celtic but they've won five of their last six games against the Tyencastle side. New signing Kelvin Wilson faces ten weeks on the sidelines with a tear in his achilles but Charlie Mulgrew returns after missing the win over Inverness CT through suspension whilst Kris Commons is doubtful with a groin problem. Hearts have Marian Kello, Kevin Kyle, Gary Glen and Calum Elliot out injured.
