Kilmarnock 1 Rangers 5
Rangers wrapped up the Clydesdale Bank Premier League title after an amazing opening blitz against Kilmarnock.  The champions romped into a three-goal lead inside the first seven minutes to blow KIllie away and secure the championship.  Kyle Lafferty lobbed the opener in the first minute when he ran on to Steven Davis' pass, then Steven Naismith fired in the second from Gregg Wylde's pass after five minutes.  Lafferty slotted in the third from Nikica Jelavic's pass to send the visiting fans into dreamland.  James Dayton and Craig Bryson both forced good saves from Allan McGregor as Kilmarnock finally showed some attacking spirit, but Davis almost made it four when he drove against the post just before the interval.  Jelavic added the fourth from a free-kick two minutes after the interval and Lafferty completed his hat-trick from Naismith's pass.  Weary Killie pulled one back when Dayton's free-kick deflected off Maurice Edu and wrong-footed McGregor.  Rangers came close to extending their lead with Cammy Bell saving well from both David Weir and Sasa Papac and Naismith also hitting the bar.  Rangers saw the game out comfortably and their strong finish to the league season, winning nine of their last ten games, saw them take their 54th title by a point from Celtic - and 41-year-old skipper Davie Weir lifted the Clydesdale Bank Premier League trophy at time-up.

Hamilton Academical 1 Inverness Caledonian Thistle 2

Caley Thistle continued their strong end to the season when they made it one defeat in eight games with victory at Hamilton.  Richie Foran headed in Aaron Doran's cross to give Inverness CT the lead just before the end of a drab first-half, but Simon Mensing levelled with a header five minutes after the break.  However Adam Rooney won the game for the visitors when he took Nick Ross's pass and slotted in his 21st goal of the season.  Mensing squandered an opportunity to earn Accies a final-day point when Jonny Tuffey was judged to have fouled Dougie Imrie - but Mensing basted the spot-kick against the bar.

Hibernian 1 Aberdeen 3
Aberdeen finished a lacklustre season on a high with a fine Easter Road win.  After Ricardo Vaz Te had hit the post, Derek Riordan put Hibs ahead in what could have been his last game for the side when he volleyed in David Wotherspoon's cross.  Josh Magennis levelled soon after the break when he headed in Chris Maguire's cross, then Maguire put Aberdeen ahead after his first attempt had been blocked.  The Dons striker added a third when his shot went in off the post and although Wotherspoon drove against the bar, Aberdeen held on to end their season with a win.

St Mirren 0 St Johnstone 0
The meeting of the two Clydesdale Bank Premier League Saints ended in a poor stalemate.  Michael Higdon twice came close to breaking the deadlock, first seeing St Johnstone 'keeper Peter Enckelman save smartly from him, then having a header saved by the Perth 'keeper.  St Johnstone's Dave MacKay tried his luck with a free-kick that was caught comfortably by Craig Samson.  Liam Craig went close with a header late on but neither side looked like breaking the deadlock.

Celtic 4 Motherwell 0
Despite their win, Celtic's hopes of overhauling Rangers in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League title race were dashed by events at Rugby Park.  Scott Brown came close to the opener after Motherwell debut 'keeper Lee Hollis saved from Gary Hooper but Hooper put his side ahead when he scrambled home his 20th goal of the season from Mark Wilson's cross.  Georgios Samaras added Celtic's second five minutes before the break when he slotted home from Charlie Mulgrew's cross.  Home substitute Shaun Maloney made it 3-0 early in the second-half after a great solo run and Paddy McCourt added a fourth after Wilson's cross.  Motherwell, who made several changes with next week's Cup Final in mind, had a great chance to stun Hampden opponents Celtic in the opening minute but Steve Jones shot into the side net.

Dundee United 2 Hearts 1
United finished their season on a high with their sixth home win in seven Tannadice games.  David Goodwillie put his side in front when he drilled a right-footer past Marian Kello after 22 minutes.  However Hearts, who'd earlier lost Andrew Driver to injury, levelled when Gary Glen headed in David Templeton's cross.  Home 'keeper Dusan Pernis saved well from Templeton but Jon Daly won it for United from Shaun Dillon's cross.
