Weekend preview

Aberdeen v St Johnstone
Derek McInnes has defenders Steven Anderson and Michael Duberry available again after both were suspended for last weekend's win at Easter Road.  Craig Brown has made Derek Young skipper for the remaining games of the season despite the fact he's told the midfielder he'll be leaving Pittodrie this summer.  A low-scoring game and probably not a home win looks on the cards if the fixture follows recent history - there have only been two goals in the three games this season and none of the last five meetings has ended in a home victory.

Dundee United v Motherwell
This is the seventh meeting of the sides this season with Dundee United having won only one – a victory at Tannadice in January.  United midfielder David Robertson will leave Tannadice this summer with St Johnstone favourites to win his signature, while Falkirk are chasing defender Darren Dods.  Motherwell manager Stuart McCall has ordered winger Chris Humphrey to prove his fitness in the build-up to the Scottish Cup final.  Tom Hateley and Steven Saunders could return after being rested for last week's home defeat to Rangers.

Hamilton Academical v Hibernian
Hamilton have Alex Neil suspended after his ordering-off against St Mirren on Monday, while Derek Riordan is the latest name to feature in the Hibs clearout.  He'll leave Hibs at the end of the season and is a target for Championship side Crystal Palace and MLS outfit Houston Dynamo.  All three meetings this season have been tight - Accies won 2-1 at Easter Road three weeks ago, while Hibs won by the same score at Hamilton in March with the other game drawn.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle v St Mirren
Caley Thistle seek to build on their midweek win over Celtic, and Terry Butcher has Richie Foran available after serving a two-game suspension.  Butcher has told midweek goalscorer Grant Munro as well as fellow stars Russell Duncan, Roy McBain, Stuart Golabek, Eric Odhiambo, Dani Sanchez and Gil Blumenshtein they won't be offered new deals this summer but Adam Rooney has been offered new terms.  Saints manager Danny Lennon travelled north to watch that midweek win - and his side's relegation fears are not yet over.  He has defender Jure Travner suspended following his ordering-off against Hamilton on Monday and skipper Hugh Murray looks set to be out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury.  None of the three games this season has seen a home win - and a Saints win would almost (but not quite) guarantee their Clydesdale Bank Premier League survival.

Rangers v Hearts
Rangers know the title is back in their hands after Celtic's midweek defeat at Inverness and they'll expect a tough game against Jim Jefferies' side - all three meetings this season have been separated by a goal.  Rangers have won two of the three and Kyle Lafferty has scored in each of Rangers' last three wins over Hearts.  The Edinburgh side haven't won on any of their last 15 visits to Ibrox - Joe Hamill scored their last winner there seven years ago.  Hearts have Ismael Bouzid serving the second game of his suspension, while Suso Santana sits the game out as he begins a two-match suspension.  Jim Jefferies will also be missing Lee Wallace with an ankle injury and Andrew Driver, who required surgery in a knee injury.  However they hope to have ex-Rangers defender Andy Webster fit after he missed last weekend's draw at Kilmarnock with a groin strain.

Kilmarnock v Celtic (Sunday)
Celtic have to bounce back after the midweek defeat at Inverness but could be four points adrift by the time they take to the field on Sunday.  They've won on both their trips to Rugby Park this season but were held to a home draw by Killie in December.  Killie have James Fowler missing through suspension, while Celtic will be missing suspended strike pair Georgios Samaras and Anthony Stokes.
