St Johnstone 0 Inverness Caledonian Thistle 3
Caley Thistle romped to a McDiarmid Park win as St Johnstone's goalscoring misery continued. The home side had started well but nine minutes before the break Chris Innes headed the visitors in front from Aaron Doran's cross. Doran added a second shortly after the break when he took the ball off Alan Maybury and placed his shot beyond Graeme Smith. Richie Foran added a third after 70 minutes when Adam Rooney and Shane Sutherland created the opening and Rooney came close to adding a fourth as Saints continued to struggle in attack.
Hamilton Academical 1 Aberdeen 1
Hamilton were denied their first home Clydesdale Bank Premier League win of the season by Dons substitute Nick Blackman's strike. Home 'keeper Tomas Cerny saved well from Chris Maguire but Accies came closest in the first-half when Dougie Imrie's shot hit the bar. Cerny again came to the home side's rescue when Aberdeen were awarded a penalty after Gary McDonald's challenge on Stevie Smith but the 'keeper saved from Chris Maguire. Accies then took advantage when Nigel Hasselbaink set up Dougie Imrie to beat Jamie Langfield. Langfield suffered a head wound trying to prevent the goal and had to be replaced by Mark Howard. Blackman ran on to Maguire's low cross to level and almost won it for Aberdeen when he fired against Cerny's post - but a point a piece was probably fair and Accies are now nine points behind St Mirren.
