Kilmarnock 0 Celtic 4
Celtic closed the gap at the top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League to a single point following a comfortable win at Rugby Park. The visitors took the lead after four minutes when Kris Commons capitalised on an opening in the home defence and took Gary Hooper's pass before firing past Anssi Jaakkola in the home goal. Commons added the second in clinical fashion eleven minutes before the interval when he took another Hooper pass and fired home. Hooper got in on the act and finished the game as a contest six minutes later when he took Anthony Stokes' pass and drilled home his 18th goal of the season. Commons rattled the Killie crossbar early in the second-half but their next goal was only delayed, Stokes taking Hooper's pass and smashing the ball into the roof of the net after 57 minutes. Jaakkola saved from Hooper and Celtic closed the game out easily to net their second successive 4-0 win.
