St Johnstone v Rangers (Tues)
A year on from the corresponding fixture when Saints inflicted Rangers' biggest defeat of last season - a 4-1 win at McDiarmid Park. Rangers have a second chance to go top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League after failing against Dundee United at Ibrox on Saturday. A win would take them a point clear of Celtic, who play on Wednesday. Gers could give Kirk Broadfoot his first outing since November following a foot injury but Madjid Bougherra and Vladimir Weiss are still doubtful. Saints have drawn five of their last six games and have scored only once in their last six league games but could give a start to new signing Jordan Robertson.
Celtic v Hibernian (Wed)
The postponement of Celtic's game at Inverness at the weekend means defender Daniel Majstorovic remains suspended, and although Shaun Maloney is nearing fitness he's unlikely to be risked. Graham Stack, Steven Thicot, Kevin McCann and Danny Galbraith are out for Hibs. Celtic have won six of their last eight meetings with Hibs, but Colin Calderwood's side are in good form - they're unbeaten in their last seven matches.
Motherwell v Dundee United (Wed)
This is the fourth game between the sides at Fir Park this season and Motherwell have won the previous three - once in both Cup competitions and once in the league. United have won on only one of their last nine visits to Fir Park. Home midfielder Steve Jennings serves the second game of a three-match suspension and striker Franny Jeffers is doubtful with a hamstring strain. United will go in good heart after six consecutive league victories but defenders Garry Kenneth and Darren Dods are out injured.
St Mirren v Aberdeen (Wed)
Saints' strengthened their position in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League after Saturday's win over fellow strugglers Hamilton. They're likely to go with the same side even though David Barron is available again. Aberdeen's Zander Diamond is available again after suspension but David McNamee (hamstring), Paul Hartley (knee) and Ryan Jack (tonsilitis) are all doubtful. Expect it to be tight - only one of the last nine meetings of the sides has been separated by more than one goal.
