Dundee United 2 Hearts 0
Johnny Russell's late double sent Dundee United up to fourth place in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.  Russell struck twice in the last seven minutes - first when he headed in sub Danny Swanson's cross and then again three minutes into injury-time from Paul Dixon's pass.  An even game looked to be heading for what would have been United's twelfth draw in twenty matches until the late goals.  In the first-half the visitors' Ryan Stevenson had an early shot saved by Dusan Pernis and Marian Kello saved from United frontman David Goodwillie.  Kello saved again from Scott Robertson after the interval and although David Templeton came close to a late equaliser after Russell's opener, United's second goal sealed the points - although they are still twelve points behind third-placed Hearts.
