Hibernian v St Mirren
Saints' win over struggling Hibs in August was their first in eight meetings with the Edinburgh side, but they have lost only one of their last five games.  Hibs haven't won in twelve games and haven't scored in their last seven matches.  Colin Calderwood brought in six players during the transfer window, with 6'5" Czech 'keeper Jakob Divis from Tatran Presov and Charlton striker Akpo Sodje the latest of them.  Chris Hogg has joined Inverness CT, Merouane Zemmama signed for Middlesbrough and Edwin de Graaf moved to Dutch side Excelsior on loan.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Dundee United
Caley Thistle defeated United 4-0 at Tannadice in August but haven't won any of their last three home meetings against them.  Inverness CT also haven't won any of their last ten Clydesdale Bank Premier League matches.  United haven't lost any of their last eight league games but have drawn six of them.  Inverness CT will include deadline day signings Chris Hogg, Alex MacDonald and Aaron Doran in their squad while United added former Ajax defender Timothy Van der Meulen to their squad after he signed a short-term deal.

Motherwell v Kilmarnock
Killie lost striker Conor Sammon to Wigan during the transfer window but Mixu Paatelainen has added Everton youngster Kieran Agard and midfielder Scott Evans from Llanelli.  Alexei Eremenko returns after a ban but Jamie Hamill is suspended and the Rugby Park side have released trio Danny Invincibile, Alan Combe and Graeme Owens.  Motherwell manager Stuart McCall failed to add a striker to his squad but Irish defender Gavin Gunning has joined from Blackburn on loan.  'Well have won the last four meetings of the clubs, including the 1-0 win at Fir Park in August, but have won only one of their last five games.

Rangers v Hearts
Hearts youngster Arvydas Novikovas joined St Johnstone on loan during the transfer window while Rangers added loan trio Blackburn's El Hadji Diouf, Arsenal youngster Kyle Bartley and Sunderland's David Healy.  Striker James Beattie has joined Blackpool on loan with Rory Loy moving to Carlisle and Andrius Velicka and Andy Webster both released by the Ibrox club.  Hearts beat Rangers at home last month but haven't won at Ibrox in their last 14 visits - their last victory there was in May 2004.
