Aberdeen v St Mirren
Aberdeen are chasing their 100th league win over the Saints as Craig Brown seeks to continue his unbeaten run since taking over at Pittodrie.  The omens look good for Aberdeen as they face a St Mirren side who haven't won in their last 21 visits to the Granite City. Brown won't stray far from the side which defeated East Fife 6-0 in the Scottish Cup.  New signing Myles Anderson is unlikely to be considered and Darren Mackie and Fraser Fyvie are still out. Saints are unbeaten in their last three away games.

Dundee United v Hearts
Expect it to be tight as three of the last four meetings of the sides have ended in draws and United's win against Motherwell on Wednesday ended a run of five successive draws for the Tannadice side.  Hearts lost in the Scottish Cup on Tuesday but have won eight of their last nine games in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.  Andrew Driver and Suso Santana are out for Hearts whilst Darren Barr and Gary Glen are doubtful with illness, Marian Kello, Rudi Skacel and Kevin Kyle also look likely to miss out for an injury hit Hearts squad.  Mihael Kovacevic and Darren Dods miss out with knee injuries for United while Scott Severin has a foot knock.

Hibernian v Celtic
Hibs are on a dismal run of seven games without a win but they've already beaten the other half of the Old Firm this season - 3-0 at Ibrox in November.  Defender Michael Hart is doubtful after missing the Scottish Cup draw against Ayr through illness.  Colin Nish has rejected the second opportunity of his career to play in China after turning down the chance to join Tianjin Tida.  Celtic are sweating over Old Firm hero Georgios Samaras after he missed the midweek draw at Hamilton with a hamstring injury. Darryl Murphy, Shaun Maloney, and Olivier Kapo are all still injured while James Forrest is suspended after his red card at New Douglas Park.

Kilmarnock v St Johnstone
Expect a winner as none of the last twelve meetings have ended in a draw.  Killie hold the upper hand in recent meetings with five wins in the last six, including the 3-0 win at Perth in November.  Kilmarnock have Craig Bryson doubtful after he limped off during Monday's Scottish Cup defeat at Ibrox.  Jamie Adams is Saints' only doubt with an ankle injury and they will be heartened after Tuesday's Cup win over Hearts.

Motherwell v Inverness Caledonian Thistle
Motherwell still have Steven Saunders missing with a hamstring injury so Stuart McCall is likely to stick with the same squad from their trip to Tannadice in midweek for his first home game in charge.  Motherwell have failed to score in only one of their twelve games against Caley Thistle but haven't won any of their last seven league games.  Jonny Hayes misses out for Inverness CT with an ankle injury as Terry Butcher's side attempt to turn around a run which has seen them without a win in six Clydesdale Bank Premier League games.  Kenny Gillet and Kevin McCann are also both sidelined with knee injuries for Inverness CT.

Rangers v Hamilton Academical
Accies haven't won any of their last eight Clydesdale Bank Premier League games and their goal in the draw against Celtic in midweek was their first in five league games.  Nigel Hasselbaink's scoring return from injury in the Scottish Cup last weekend has boosted Billy Reid, though he will again be without his injured trio of Alex Neil, David Elebert and James Gibson, as well as suspended pair Simon Mensing and Jim McAlister.  Rangers, who will probably stick with the same squad which beat Kilmarnock on Monday, have won the last 17 league meetings against Hamilton - March 1954 was the last time they even managed a league draw against Rangers.
