Tuesday 21 December
Celtic v Kilmarnock
Celtic hope to have skipper Scott Brown available for the first time after 10 weeks out through injury and Beram Kayal is also nearing a return - but Shaun Maloney is out for four months after ankle surgery and Glenn Loovens will be sidelined for a month with a medial knee ligament injury. Mixu Paatelainen's on-form Kilmarnock side have won five of their last seven games on the way to fifth place in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League and are likely to be unchanged from Saturday's win against Hibs. Celtic, however, have won eleven of the last twelve meetings of the sides.
The two other Clydesdale Bank Premier League games scheduled to take place this week have been called off. The Dundee United v Rangers game scheduled for Tuesday 21st December has unfortunately fallen victim to the weather as police deemed surrounding conditions unsafe following harsh weather conditions in Dundee. The Hamilton Academical v Hibernian match due to take place on Wednesday 22nd November has also been called off due to a frozen pitch.
