Weekend review

Celtic 2  Inverness CT 2
Celtic dropped home points for the second week in a row after losing two late goals to Caley Thistle.  Ki Sung-Yeung's first-half drive from sub Paddy McCourt's pass and a solo second by McCourt seemed to have the home side on the way to the points and the chance to close on Rangers at the top of the table.  But a mix-up between Dan Majstorovic and Thomas Rogne allowed Richie Foran to slam in Caley's first goal.  Jonny Hayes had a great chance to level but headed over from youngster Graeme Shinnie's cross, but Inverness CT equalised when Grant Munro nodded in Adam Rooney's overhead kick following Hayes' corner.  The draw means Caley Thistle have now gone a year since their last away league defeat.  The match was refereed by experienced Luxembourg official Alain Hamer because of the referees strike.

Hamilton Academical 0  St Mirren 0
Hamilton are still looking for their first home win this season and remain bottom of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League as Saints held them to a goalless draw.  Accies' Flavio Paixao missed the game's two best chances - first when he met a flick-on from Martin Canning only to shoot just over the bar from point-blank range, then when he missed a golden opportunity after the break when he headed wide from Damian Casalinuovo's cross.  Hamilton's Simon Mensing poked in what would have been an own goal winner for St Mirren but Israeli referee Meir Levi's assistant David Elia Biton judged Saints frontman Gareth Wardlaw offside.

Hibernian 0  St Johnstone 0
Hibs and Saints shared a draw in a dour clash at Easter Road.  Edwin de Graaf's first-half shot was well held by St Johnstone goalkeeper Peter Enckelman but Saints had the better openings after the break and Collin Samuel missed a chance to put his side ahead when he shot tamely at Mark Brown.  Saints striker Sam Parkin almost snatched it at the death but headed Danny Grainger's cross into the side netting in a match refereed by Maltese whistler Christian Lautier.

Kilmarnock 2  Aberdeen 0
Kilmarnock edged into the top six with another impressive performance against a poor Aberdeen side.  Conor Sammon put the home team in front with his 14th goal of the season when he was quickest to react when Jamie Langfield fumbled Alexei Eremenko Jr.'s free-kick.  Killie made it 2-0 from the spot when Langfield fouled Eremenko as he ran on to Sammon's pass.  Jamie Hamill scored from the spot to put the game beyond Aberdeen.  Langfield went some way to making up for his error at the opening goal with good second-half saves from Sammon, Liam Kelly and Eremenko to prevent the scoreline becoming embarrassing for the visitors.  The pressure is back on Pittodrie Manager Mark McGhee after his side's sixth successive defeat - and they've managed just four points out of 39.  Israeli ref Eli Hacmon took charge of the match.

The Sunday fixtures, Dundee United v Rangers and Motherwell v Hearts, were both postponed because of the harsh weather conditions.
