Weekend preview

Dundee United v Kilmarnock
Scott Severin, Craig Conway and Darren Dods all require operations and are out for United whilst Danny Swanson is doubtful with a sciatic problem.  Killie haven't won any of their last five meetings with United, although they are unbeaten in their last three visits to Tannadice and are in a rich vein of form having won their last three Clydesdale Bank Premier League games.  United, though, have lost four of their last six games, including the midweek home defeat to St Mirren.

Hamilton Academical v Inverness Caledonian Thistle
Inverness CT continued their incredible away record at Pittodrie in midweek - they're unbeaten in their last 16 away games in the league.  Caley Thistle have only visited Hamilton twice in their history - winning in the Challenge Cup in 1999 and losing 1-0 in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League two seasons ago.  Accies and Third Division basement club Clyde are the only Scottish sides who've yet to win at home in the league this season and bottom club Accies have now won only one game in their last eight.  Accies frontman Nigel Hasselbaink looks set to miss out after suffering a hamstring injury against Kilmarnock in midweek.

Hibernian v Motherwell
Both sides had excellent midweek wins and Hibs have to decide whether to recall striker Derek Riordan, who's available again after missing the win at Ibrox through suspension.  Motherwell have won only one of the last seven meetings of the sides, but they have won eight of their last eleven games and frontman Nick Blackman has hit four goals in his last two games.  Keith Lasley is pushing for a recall for the Steelmen but Craig Brown could stick with the same side who grabbed 'Well's biggest win of the season against St Johnstone.

Rangers v Aberdeen
Aberdeen make their second visit to Glasgow on consecutive weekends after three defeats in a row and will be without Darren Mackie who was injured against Inverness CT on Tuesday.  Dons' record at Ibrox is among the worst in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League - they've managed just three draws on their last 24 visits to Ibrox.  Aberdeen will have skipper Paul Hartley available after suspension.  Rangers will be without Sasa Papac after he'd ten stitches put in a head wound against Hibs in midweek and midfielder Maurice Edu, who was stretchered off with a knee injury, is also doubtful.  Gers have signed Algerian midfielder Salim Kerkar until the end of the season.

St Johnstone v Hearts
St Johnstone have drifted to third-bottom of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League after three successive games without a goal.  The Saints will be without Marcus Haber who is out for the remainder of the season with a cartilage injury.  Hearts have Ian Black doubtful after the midweek win over Celtic while Andrew Driver, Lee Wallace and David Obua are all sidelined.  Saints are unbeaten in the sides' last five meetings but fourth-placed Hearts will go into the game buoyant after wins over Hibs and Celtic.

St Mirren v Celtic (Sunday)
Saints skipper Hugh Murray is doubtful after suffering a head knock during Wednesday's win at Tannadice.  Celtic will have Thomas Rogne available after missing the midweek trip to Tynecastle through suspension but Joe Ledley is banned following his Tynecastle red card.  Celtic lost 4-0 on their last visit to Paisley in March - a result which ended Tony Mowbray's spell in charge - but Celtic have won 14 of the last 16 league meetings between the sides.
