With both Celtic and Rangers boasting a 100% winning start to the SPL season and the first ‘Old Firm’ game fast approaching our fans poll simply asked your thoughts on the outcome of the match.

In what was a close fought battle Rangers came out as favourite with 40% of you backing the Ibrox side.  The reigning champions have been in impressive form in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League so far with wins over Motherwell, Hearts and Aberdeen and many of you believe this form will continue with a win over Celtic.

With Neil Lennon guiding his side to 16 consecutive Clydesdale Bank Premier League victories 39% of you voted for a Celtic win.  Celtic are in a rich vein of form in the SPL and will be encouraged by the fact that Rangers have not won at Celtic Park since August 2008.

21% of you were unable to separate the sides and voted that both halves of the ‘Old Firm’ will continue their unbeaten starts to the Clydesdale Bank Premier League by recording a draw in what is sure to be a tense and thrilling encounter.
