Aberdeen v Hibernian
New Hibs manager Colin Calderwood will take his side north for the 300th meeting of the sides. Hibs have won on two of their last three visits to Pittodrie, including the 2-0 win last December. Aberdeen haven't won any of their last six Clydesdale Bank Premier League games but manager Mark McGhee is adamant he'll win the doubters over. His no.2 Scott Leitch will watch from the stand after being sent off against Hearts last weekend.
Hamilton Academical v St Johnstone
St Johnstone goalkeeper Peter Enckelman has a torn thigh muscle and will be out for two weeks but defender Steven Anderson is available after suspension. Accies have drawn three of their last four games, while Saints have won only one of the last five meetings of the sides.
Hearts v St Mirren
Jim Jefferies hopes to have Ugandan David Obua available after missing last weekend's win at Aberdeen with a groin injury and Craig Thomson is available after suspension. Saints 'keeper Paul Gallacher is out for three weeks after a tidy-up knee operation. St Mirren have failed to score in only one of their nine games this season - the Parkhead defeat in August - but remain bottom of the table. Hearts, though, haven't won in four home league games this season. Expect a tight meeting between the sides as there hasn't been more than one goal in their last ten encounters.
Kilmarnock v Inverness Caledonian Thistle
Killie are keen to extend Chelsea loan defender Ben Gordon's deal until the end of the season and manager Mixu Paatelainen has Frazer Wright available after suspension. Caley Thistle have won five of their last seven meetings with Kilmarnock and have taken seven points from their last three Clydesdale Bank Premier League games. Inverness CT are the only side in the SPL outside the Old Firm who are unbeaten away from home.
Motherwell v Dundee United
Dundee United have Danny Swanson back in light training after his back injury but he's not ready for selection. Motherwell are attempting to extend striker Nick Blackman's loan from Blackburn until the end of the season but have defender Steven Saunders struggling with a groin injury. There have been four wins apiece and four draws in the last twelve games between the sides.
Celtic v Rangers (Sunday)
Both sides go into the first Old Firm clash of the season with 100% records. Celtic have won 16 consecutive Clydesdale Bank Premier League games and have Niall McGinn available after injury but skipper Scott Brown and Beram Kayal are out. Rangers have goalkeeper Allan McGregor available after suspension and manager Walter Smith is hopeful both Kirk Broadfoot and Lee McCulloch, who missed the midweek Champions League draw with Valencia, will be available. Referee Willie Collum will handle his first Old Firm game. There have only been two draws in the last 14 league meetings of the sides - Rangers having won eight games in that run.
