Hearts 1 Rangers 2
Stevie Naismith grabbed the winner for the second time in four days to stun Hearts. The champions came from behind to shock Jim Jefferies' side, who'd taken an early lead when Rudi Skacel poked home Kevin Kyle's flick on. Rangers sub Kyle Lafferty levelled with ten minutes to go when his free-kick beat the Hearts wall - and Naismith, who scored his side's midweek winner against Bursaspor, won it in the fourth minute of injury-time after playing a one-two with Lafferty. Hearts are likely to be in hot water after assistant ref Willie Conquer was hit on the arm by missiles after Rangers' winner.
Celtic 3 Hamilton Academical 1
Celtic came from behind to move ahead of Rangers at the top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League by a single goal. Mark McLaughlin headed Accies in front after only three minutes from Martin Canning's header across goal. Celtic struggled to respond, with 'keeper Fraser Forster making excellent early saves from Nigel Hasselbaink, Dougie Imrie and Jim Goodwin. Celtic levelled when Shaun Maloney scored from close range following Daniel Majstorovic's header across goal, and Maloney put his side ahead with a terrific free-kick after 64 minutes. Gary Hooper sealed the points for Celtic seven minutes later with a low drive after Imrie lost possession on the edge of his 18 yard box.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle 2 Aberdeen 0
Irishmen Jonny Hayes and Adam Rooney scored the goals which finally ended Caley's home hoodoo against ten-man Aberdeen. Hayes opened the scoring after 19 minutes when his cross floated beyond Mark Howard into the top corner. Rooney added the second just after the hour when he took advantage of Zander Diamond's mistake and beat Howard for the second. Aberdeen's miserable day was complete when sub Michael Paton was shown a straight red card for a stamp on Hayes.
Kilmarnock 1 Dundee United 2
Kilmarnock played well but lost all three points and red-carded defender Frazer Wright. David Goodwillie put the visitors ahead after 15 minutes with a shot which deflected off Jamie Hamill, and Killie looked dead and buried when Jon Daly scored from Garry Kenneth's knock-down. Wright was sent off for dissent having previously been booked but the ten men pulled one back in injury-time when Conor Sammon bundled in David Silva's cross.
Motherwell 3 St Mirren 1
Motherwell stayed in third place but needed two late goals to subdue struggling Saints. Chris Humphrey put the home side in front after three minutes when he took advantage of St Mirren new boy Paddy Cregg's slip, but Motherwell struggled to build on their lead and Saints levelled when Paul McGowan set up Gareth Wardlaw who drove into the top corner. Saints were hoping for a point but three minutes from time Lee Mair pulled down sub Alan Gow and Tom Hateley scored the resulting penalty. Jamie Murphy made the points safe a minute later when he converted Gow's cross.
St Johnstone 2 Hibernian 0
Saints increased the pressure on Hibs manager John Hughes thanks to two second-half substitutes. Liam Craig glanced in Danny Grainger's corner with 14 minutes to go to give his side the lead, and Marcus Haber forced a good stop out of Mark Brown before he took advantage of sloppy Hibs defending to add the second in stoppage time.
