Weekend preview

Celtic v Hibernian
Hibs' January win at Celtic Park - thanks to Danny Galbraith's last-minute winner - was their first win in Glasgow's East End since 2005.  Anthony Stokes, now with Celtic, scored for Hibs on both their visits to Celtic last term, and this week added to his Celtic tally with a double against Inverness CT in the Co-op Cup.  Home boss Neil Lennon has injury doubts over Emilio Izaguirre, who limped off during the 6-0 win over Inverness CT with a thigh injury, Gary Hooper is also doubtful.

Dundee United v St Johnstone
The sides met five times last season - only once at Tannadice - but United still won three of them, with the only Tannadice clash ending in a 3-3 draw.  The Saints haven't won at Tannadice since August 2000 and will be looking to break that record this weekend.  United are sweating over defender Garry Kenneth who injured his hamstring in the warm-up before last weekend´s defeat at Ibrox.   Saints have a doubt over striker Andy Jackson who was stretchered off after colliding with St Mirren goalkeeper Paul Gallagher last week - but are boosted by the news that management team Derek McInnes and Tony Docherty have signed new deals keeping them at the club until 2013.

Hamilton Academical v Kilmarnock
Killie have won only one of the last seven meetings of the sides - the 3-0 victory at Rugby Park in August 2009.  Accies won the last meeting by the same scoreline in April but Killie will go into the game in good form after four wins in their last five games.  Killie will face local rivals Ayr in Garry Hay´s testimonial game on Tuesday.

Hearts v Motherwell
Motherwell won three of the four Clydesdale Bank Premier League games between the clubs last season - and none of the last 14 meetings of the sides has ended in a draw.  Motherwell have also won their last three away games so are on form ahead of their trip to Tynecastle.  Hearts have fitness worries over Ian Black who was injured against Inverness CT last week.

St Mirren v Inverness Caledonian Thistle
Inverness CT haven't lost away from home in the league for twelve games - stretching back to their defeat to Partick Thistle at Firhill in November 2009 in Division One.  Despite the midweek defeat at Celtic Park, they've won at Tannadice and drawn at Easter Road in a strong return to the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.   Caley Thistle have won the last two meetings of the sides 2-1. However Terry Butcher has injury problems - Chris Innes is out for a month with a hamstring injury, Kenny Gillet and Kevin McCann are also struggling, and Lee Cox was subbed with a knock against Celtic in midweek.  Saints will have loan striker Paul McGowan back after suspension and Paul McQuade is nearing full fitness - and his Saints debut - after tearing his calf muscle before the opening game of the season.

Aberdeen v Rangers (Sunday)
Rangers haven't won on their last six visits to Pittodrie - their last success came in the 2-1 win in December 2006, when Nacho Novo and Libor Sionko scored their goals.  Dons wide man Sone Aluko is in plaster with an achilles injury which will keep him out for three months, while youngster Fraser Fyvie had a cruciate operation last week and is out for the rest of the season.  Striker Scott Vernon´s midweek double against Raith Rovers took his recent tally to four goals in three games. Rangers are looking to tie striker Kenny Miller to a new deal despite interest from Arab outfit Al-Ain following his impressive start to the campaign.
