Dundee United 0 Inverness Caledonian Thistle 4
Inverness CT recorded their biggest-ever away win in the SPL with a fantastic Tannadice triumph.  Kevin McCann drove in the opener from 30 yards after 34 minutes before Eric Odhiambo set up Adam Rooney for the second.  Russell Duncan curled the third over United keeper Dusan Pernis. A late fourth was added when Garry Kenneth brought Rooney down and the striker blasted in the fourth from the spot.

Celtic 4 St Mirren 0
Neil Lennon's side cruised to a comfortable win in their first home game of the season.  Joe Ledley opened the scoring after five minutes and Shaun Maloney forced the ball home in a scramble for the second. Maloney and Marc Antoine Fortune both hit the woodwork before youngster James Forrest - starting his first league game - added the third.  Sub Ki Sung-Yeung drove in the fourth to complete a comprehensive win.

Hamilton Academical 0 Hearts 4
Calum Elliot continued his scoring form with a double to leave Accies entrenched at the bottom of the table, in a clash that saw both sides finish with ten men.  Elliot, who scored against St Johnstone last weekend, curled in a left-footer to put Hearts ahead, before David Templeton made it 2-0 after a mix-up in the home defence.  Ruben Palazuelos was shown red for a second yellow card but it made little difference and Hamilton were reduced to ten when Martin Canning was sent off for a foul on Elliot resulting in Hearts' sub Kevin Kyle adding the third from the penalty spot. Elliot added a late fourth after taking advantage of Kyle Wilkie's error.

Hibernian 0 Rangers 3
Kenny Miller was the Capital hero for Rangers with a second-half treble.  An incident-free first-half exploded into life in the final minute when Kyle Lafferty's wild challenge on Liam Miller and Kevin McBride's angry reaction saw both players sent off by referee Iain Brines.  Edwin de Graaf was denied an opener for Hibs by Madjid Bougherra's tackle and Rangers took advantage when James Beattie tee’d Miller up for the opener. On-loan sub Vladimir Weiss set the striker up for an easy finish for the second and Miller drove in the third in injury-time.  Scotland 'keeper Allan McGregor will not face punishment after appearing to feign injury in a first-half clash with Derek Riordan.

Kilmarnock 0 Motherwell 1
Loan signing Nick Blackman sent Motherwell home happy as they grabbed their first win of the season.  The Blackburn frontman drove in eight minutes before the break to give 'Well ideal preparation for Thursday's Europa League clash with Danes Odense.  Kilmarnock did however show signs of striking back forcing new Motherwell 'keeper Darren Randolph into a fine save from Manuel Pascali to preserve the win.

St Johnstone 0 Aberdeen 1

Darren Mackie came off the bench and scored the winner at McDiarmid Park, keeping the Dons at the top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.  Mackie scuffed home a shot five minutes from time as Sone Aluko's cross eluded Peter Enkelman to give Aberdeen victory in an evenly-contested game which looked to be heading for a stalemate.  Although Kevin Rutkiewicz missed a first-half chance, Saints struggled to get support up to Sam Parkin and suffered injury blows when Liam Craig limped off and skipper Jody Morris pulled a hamstring late on.
