Aberdeen 1 â 3 Hamilton
Aberdeen's misery continued as they were comfortably trounced by Accies and ended up with nine men. Flavio Paixao headed in Dougie Imrie's cross in the opening minute and James Wesolowski headed a second early in the second-half. Imrie had a goal disallowed before he was fouled by Stuart Duff for a penalty which was converted by Simon Mensing. The home side then had Ricky Foster and Zander Diamond red-carded for second bookings before Derek Young pulled one back with five minutes left. Mark McGhee's side have now won just three of their last 20 games.
Celtic 4 â 0 Motherwell
Celtic made it six Clydesdale Bank Premier League wins in succession thanks to a second-half blitz. Aiden McGeady put them in front with a clever chip after 48 minutes and Darren O'Dea sealed the points with a headed flick from McGeady's cross with 12 minutes left. Sub James Forrest added a third from Marc-Antoine Fortune's pass and Robbie Keane - also a sub with the Old Firm game on Tuesday in mind - added his 16th of the season in injury-time.
Dundee United 1 â 2 Rangers
Kris Boyd grabbed his 100th SPL goal for Rangers as the champions won at Tannadice. Boyd drove in his 23rd goal of the season after just two minutes from John Fleck's pass and Gers were comfortable after Nacho Novo held off Sean Dillon to make it two just before the interval. Damian Casalinuovo made it 2-1 with a late deflected header but an under-strength Rangers held on for the points. They left out Allan McGregor, Kenny Miller, Steven Whittaker, Kyle Lafferty, Steven Davis and Lee McCulloch in preparation for Tuesday's Old Firm game - but lost Kevin Thomson to injury after 28 minutes.
Falkirk 1 â 1 St Mirren
Relegation is a two-way fight between Falkirk and Kilmarnock after a Bairns stalemate. The home team looked good for all three points after Chris Innes was red-carded by ref Willie Collum following an off-the-ball incident with Brian MacLean at the end of the first-half. Scott Arfield scored from the resulting spot-kick and Steven Pressley's side looked set to move off the bottom until Stephen O'Donnell headed home after Craig Dargo flicked on Andy Dorman's cross with four minutes left. Falkirk are now on 29 points at the bottom along with Kilmarnock but are three goals worse off with two games to go.
Hibernian 1 â 2 Hearts
Hibs' chase for a Europa League spot continues after they lost to a last-minute goal in the Capital derby. They went ahead when Marius Zaliukas was controversially judged to have fouled John Rankin and Anthony Stokes scored from the spot. But Suso Santana chipped Graeme Smith after Paul Hanlon's clearance fell to him and when Smith failed to cut out David Templeton's cross in the final minute, David Obua tapped home at the far post. Hibs are a point behind Motherwell in the battle for fourth place with the sides due to meet on Wednesday.
Kilmarnock 1 â 2 St Johnstone
Killie's misery continues after their ninth defeat in ten games. They went ahead through Frazer Wright's header after Kevin Kyle's knock-on, but Kenny Deuchar soon levelled from Murray Davidson's cross. And Davidson was again the provider for Collin Samuel to volley the winner with 15 minutes to go. Killie now face Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Wednesday followed by basement club Falkirk at home on Saturday.
