Aberdeen v St Mirren
Both games between the sides this season have ended in 1-0 home wins thanks to late goals. Charlie Mulgrew scored a late winner for the Dons in September and Chris Innes did the same for Saints in January. Innes is set to miss out again through injury and David Barron is struggling with a knee injury but on-loan Graham Carey is available again after missing the midweek triumph against Celtic. Aberdeen have gone twelve games without a win.
Celtic v Kilmarnock
Celtic have to try and pick up the pieces after the midweek drubbing at St Mirren. They may recall Artur Boruc to replace Lukasz Zaluska and skipper Scott Brown is available again after suspension. Killie have lost their last five games and had failed to score in the four before Wednesday's Rugby Park defeat by Hamilton. They're now only four points ahead of bottom side Falkirk.
Dundee United v Motherwell
Motherwell could leap ahead of their rivals for a Europa League place with a Tannadice win. They haven't lost in their last six meetings with United and recorded their biggest win of last season when they won 4-0 at Tannadice in January 2009. Craig Brown pointed out Motherwell's season started on July 2 and gave his players extra time off because they had no game last weekend â he'll be hoping the rest works to their advantage.
Falkirk v Hibernian
John Hughes' side have a lot to do after one win in their last nine games and their humbling in the Scottish Cup at Ross County on Tuesday. Hughes accused his players of being 'soft' after their midweek exit. They continue to be without injured skipper Chris Hogg and on-loan Alan Gow is also out with a hamstring injury. Falkirk are awaiting the results of the scan on midfielder Vitor Lima's knee injury.
Hamilton v St Johnstone
Accies have yet to beat Saints this season after a draw at Perth and a home defeat last October. Saints have won three, drawn three and lost three of their last nine games and really need to win to retain any faint hope of a top six finish. Derek McInnes will be without long-term injury victims Kevin Moon, Kevin Rutkiewicz and Martin Hardie.
Hearts v Rangers
Hearts manager Jim Jefferies got a boost with the news that injury-plagued Marius Zaliukas could return for his side, while skipper Michael Stewart is touch and go as he tries to shake off a calf muscle injury. Ian Black and Ismael Bouzid are likely to miss out but youngster David Templeton has agreed a new deal with the club. Rangers will have midfielder Kevin Thomson available after he missed the midweek Scottish Cup exit at Tannadice but will be without Madjid Bougherra and Kirk Broadfoot again.
