Aberdeen v Dundee United
Aberdeen manager Mark McGhee conceded his side's hopes of making the top six were effectively over after Tuesday's defeat at St Johnstone in which midfielder Gary McDonald was injured meaning he could be out for up to six weeks. Both meetings between these two this season have ended in away wins â United won the corresponding game at Pittodrie in October while Charlie Mulgrew's winner was enough to earn Aberdeen the points in January. Damian Casalinuovo is out for United after he injured his hamstring in the early minutes at Ibrox last Sunday.
Celtic v St Johnstone
This match will be the 99th league meeting of the sides and Celtic's first home game in a month. The Glasgow side have won their last ten games against Saints and have also scored nine goals in the two Clydesdale Bank Premier League meetings of the clubs this season. Robbie Keane has scored Celtic's last five goals but Saints have lost only two of their last nine games. They hope to have midfielder Murray Davidson back but Kevin Moon is struggling after fears he strained a medial ligament against Aberdeen in midweek and goalscorer Cillian Sheridan sits the game out because of the terms of his loan agreement from Celtic.
Hamilton v Falkirk
Victory would see Hamilton open up a nine-point gap between them and basement club Falkirk and they've lost only one of their last six matches. However scoring goals has been Accies' problem this season â they haven't managed to hit the net in either of the two meetings of the sides this season. Falkirk have lost five of their last six games but have midfielder Scott Arfield back after suspension.
Hearts v Hibernian
The formbook points towards a tight, bad-tempered affair â only one of the last ten Capital derbies has been decided by more than one goal and six players have been sent off in the last six meetings. Hearts have lost their last two games and a top-six place isn't guaranteed yet but Hibs have won only one of their last seven games and were held to a home draw by Ross County last weekend. Both games between the sides this season have ended even. Hearts will be boosted by the return of Andrew Driver, Scott Robinson and Craig Thomson who are all available again
