Kilmarnock 0 â 2 Rangers
Second-half goals from Steven Whittaker and Kenny Miller opened up a 13-point gap at the top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League. Killie had already denied Kris Boyd before Whittaker blasted home his 11th goal of the season following Tim Clancy's attempted clearance. And Miller sealed the points when he scored after Cammy Bell parried Steven Davis' shot. Gers had further chances to add to their lead but Boyd had two efforts saved and Nacho Novo blazed over the top.
St Mirren 0 â 0 Motherwell
Motherwell extended their unbeaten run to eleven games with a hard-fought draw at New St Mirren Park. Despite Saints creating had the better of the few chances there were, it was a match which always looked likely to end in stalemate. Andy Dorman, on as a second-half sub, blazed two efforts wildly over, while Stevie Hammell cleared Stephen O'Donnell's header off the line late on. Saints are now without a win in eleven league games but the point moves them five points ahead of bottom club Falkirk.
