Celtic v Dundee United
Celtic aim to bounce back after the disappointment of squandering a two-goal lead at Pittodrie last weekend but they have won only one of the last seven meetings of the sides. Five of the last eight meetings have been drawn - and it took a penalty marathon before Celtic won the League Cup clash between them 11-10 last January. Celtic are struggling with Jos Hooiveld ruled out with a hamstring injury but Tony Mowbray hopes to have Glenn Loovens and Andreas Hinkel back - but Irish duo Darren O'Dea and Aiden McGeady are suspended.
Falkirk v Aberdeen
A tight encounter looks on the cards - the last six meetings have either ended drawn or in a one-goal win, although Aberdeen haven't won any of the last three meetings and go into the game after the shock of the midweek cup defeat by Raith Rovers. Falkirk's last Clydesdale Bank Premier League win was against Aberdeen earlier this month thanks to Colin Healy's drive.
Kilmarnock v St Mirren
Another game that looks like being tightly-contested â the last eleven meetings have been drawn or settled by the odd goal â but Saints will take heart from having won all three meetings this season. However Jimmy Calderwood's side will go into the game in confident mood having put together an unbeaten run stretching to six matches. Saints have defender Jack Ross doubtful after he was injured against Rangers in the Scottish Cup replay on Wednesday, while Frazer Wright is still unavailable for Killie.
Motherwell v Hibernian
There is major incentive for Hibs to bounce back after their midweek thrashing at the hands of St Johnstone but will need to cope without Colin Nish who is suspended after his red card in that game. The Leith side have a great recent record against the Fir Park club with three wins and a draw in the last four games. Motherwell, however, remain unbeaten in their last seven Clydesdale Bank Premier League games and have conceded just one goal in that time. They continue to have midfielder Marc Fitzpatrick unavailable through injury.
St Johnstone v Rangers
This will be the 99th league meeting of the sides â and Saints have managed only twelve wins in that time. However, they'll go into the game on a high after their 5-1 trouncing of Hibs on Wednesday. St Johnstone are likely to be missing ex-Ger Peter MacDonald through injury while DaMarcus Beasley may not be risked after his 45-minute appearance against Hibs last Sunday. St Johnstone haven't beaten Rangers in Perth since October 2000 and have lost all three meetings this season.
Hearts v Hamilton (Sunday)
New Jambos boss Jim Jefferies has brought club legend John Robertson back to the club to work with the Tynecastle strikers. However he has skipper Michael Stewart ruled out through suspension. Both meetings this season ended in 2-1 wins for the home team, but Hamilton haven't won at Tynecastle since October 1977 â when both clubs were in the First Division. Billy Reid hopes to have skipper Alex Neil back after injury.
