Dundee United 0 – 3 Rangers
Rangers moved a point clear at the top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League with a powerful win at Tannadice repeating the result which saw them clinch the title at United's ground on the final day of last season.

DaMarcus Beasley, receiving the ball from a Kirk Broadfoot throw-in, drove Rangers ahead halfway through the first-half with an angled effort from the edge of the box.  After the break Rangers took complete control as Kenny Miller added a second from Nacho Novo's cross and then a third from Beasley's pass.  United manager Craig Levein apologised to his side's fans for their disappointing performance and admitted his team could have lost more goals.
