Rangers 3 - 0 Dundee Utd
Rangers were in cruise control last weekend as they stomped all over Inverness at Ibrox.  Kris Boyd and Kenny Miller asked for the chance to play together and have delivered in spades – it just shows how much easier games are with strikers in form!  United however are experiencing the opposite having drawn a blank last time out, but on a positive note they are still on a great run and are well capable of shutting up shop defensively at Ibrox.  Unlikely as it is given Rangers’ current home form, a win for the visitors sends them up to 3rd in the table.

Inverness 1 - 2 Celtic

Celtic don't like going up to Inverness. They have a pretty poor record by their standards - over the last 5 matches Inverness have won one, they've drawn two, and lost two, both very late on in the game. So Inverness is a place where Celtic now completely understand they will go to and have a tough match. Inverness Caley Thistle have got confidence and self belief just now, they know they can give Celtic a tough match. They've had a good start to the season, they were expected to be bottom but are comfortable at the moment and will fancy their chances. This could be a tight one, Celtic may need to go all the way and dig deep to win it, but I think they will end up being too strong for the home side.

Falkirk 1 - 0 Aberdeen
You wouldn't have expected either of these teams to be near the foot of the table, but this will be the bottom and second bottom teams up against each other. Aberdeen are under immense pressure. They've had a bad run, and really need to win this game. Falkirk have been playing good football, but their problem is that they have been a bit inconsistent. Home advantage will help for this one, and Falkirk seem to be employing a style of football the players are indentifying with, so if they are allowed to get going, they could be too strong for the Dons. Aberdeen will be desperate for this result though, so it could be a tough match.

Hamilton Accies 1 - 2 St Mirren
Hamilton have done well this season, they have played some really good football. They are going to be defeated more often than not, but they seem to be either winning or losing, they're not drawing many games which is good, as the three points for winning the odd match here and there will keep them up. This game is a difficult one to predict. St Mirren have also been playing good football, but the Rangers game was the first time they were able to play well and get the result. This will be a tight game, but St Mirren will still be on a high after beating the Gers, and I think they'll win it.

Kilmarnock 1 - 0 Motherwell
Killie have been having a fantastic time, they're doing well and are sitting third top of the league. They're playing good football, scoring goals, they're creative in midfield, and Jim Jefferies has got a strong squad of players who are all healthy. Everything people said about team before the season started, they have proved wrong! But it will be difficult against Motherwell. Mark McGhee has the team playing well, they're also scoring goals although defensively they haven't quite worked things out yet, which Kilmarnock can capitalise on. It should be a good open game of football, but I think it will be a home win.

Hibernian 1 - 1 Hearts
Both sides have been inconsistent so far this season, but are very much in the hunt for the third spot, and I believe they will still be there at the end of the season too. I met Csaba Laszlo last week and after talking to him realised he is a very strong and opinionated manager who has the respect of his players, and that is what Hearts need, the training and the effort on the pitch to be united, to counter the off field problems. Being the home side is important in derby matches, and having Derek Riordan back in the team is a bonus for Hibs. No matter how good a single player is, it's about the team, but Riordan will rise to the challenge and is the type of player that can pop up and do something special. I think this one will end a draw.
